physiCHEM (Chemistry) 11 NCS has been compiled in such a way that learners can work through it on their own. Questions range from easy to difficult and learners are thoroughly tested to determine if they understand all of the work and can apply their knowledge. Complete answers and explanations to all of the questions are provided in the back of the book.

physiCHEM 11 NCS contains a short chapter in which learners’ scientific reasoning ability (Learning outcome 2) is assessed. Examples of these questions appeared in our 2009 newsletters. We often make reference to interesting websites that learners and teachers who have access to computers and the internet, can visit to obtain more information on a specific topic.

The books are bilingual (Afrikaans and English) and should relieve the pressure on teachers in double medium schools who have to set test and examination papers in two languages.
